This cave has sheltered us and our guns allowed us to hunt.

However, our ammunition won’t last long.

Will we end up becoming Paleolithic food?

Maybe the time machine wasn’t the greatest idea.

Will we ever escape back to our time?

Microfiction: Arrive

I was the last to arrive at the meeting point, the other two were waiting for me.

It was awkward for me to see the pair of teenager and old lady smiling at me, wearing matching dresses.

I never thought i would ever feel the pressure of looking better than myself, or rather my future and past selves, and I owe all this additional pressure to the time machine…
