Flash Fiction: Muse

It was a packed day at the museum’s Opening of the new Sculpture section

Danny was jubilant. It was always a great feeling for a curator to see art getting such appreciation. As he wandered around, his eyes fell on a woman, lost in admiration of the human sculpture exhibited in front of her.

“Enjoy sculptures?”

In Danny’s view, her golden curls and deep blue dress gave her the appearance of a Sea Angel. She nodded.

“Would it not be wonderful to be someone’s muse? Immortalized and admired forever? I would love it.”

Danny’s eyes twinkled ominously.

“Is that so?”
