Walks by the dusky seashore are lifesavers.
No matter how useless my life seems, my walk is efficacious in raising my spirits. I am not abashed in admitting how weak I feel throughout the day. I am only this far from putting a bullet in my head and disappearing into the seas, like the sun.
Not just yet though…

Dang! Profound! Fantastic! Hopefully not autobiographical.

Thanks so much! 😀
Naah, not autobiographical! No seashore near where I live right now! XD

Though I’ve never wanted to blow my head to smithereens (so distressing for those who find it), yet I know the uplifting effects of a shore-side walk. 🙂

A bit dark but as a thought process based piece it’s probably pretty accurate. It takes some skill to be believable.

Heard from you after a while!
How have you been?

I’m alright thanks. I’ve not been writing for a while as I can’t get enough focus to get back into it, as a result I’d almost forgotten about WordPress. I’m finding new stuff for the site now and should be inconsistently posting again now. I’ll still be looking for bits to read so keep going!👍

The sea has such a calming effect. For me, having it on my doorstep is a godsend.

Yikes, that was brilliant. Like so many others have already noted, hopefully not autobiographical. Keep writing!

Luckily, it is not autobiographical! 🙂
Though there can be down days, they aren’t this bad! 😉

My first time here. Woah, you did say mostly dark ones. The image works well, evoking a pool of blood.

Ohhh…you’re very sweet to be concerned, but no need. We all have heavy days sometimes. Blessings to you 🙂

This is a powerful piece. I’m amazed that you’ve managed to cram a complete sense of character arc into so few words! Micro fiction is nearer to poetry, I think, and is extremely difficult to pull of. Very well done.

Strong stuff – beautiful photo. Glad to hear the story is not autobiographical. I can imagine walking on that gorgeous golden sea shore.
